Places you can Visit
Guhaghar beach – 3 Kms
Guhaghar beach is situated just 3 kms away from the resort. Guests can visit the beach in the morning and evenings. Enjoy a broad spectrum of adventure activities such as jet skiing, bumper tube ride, snorkelling, and waterfall rappelling, among others. For families with kids, a boat ride on the coast can add a thrilling experience to your vacation.
Hedvi Ganesh Temple and Beach – 20kms
Located at approximately 20 km from our resort, Hedvi Ganesh Temple is also known as Dasabhuj Ganesh Temple. Constructed during the rule
of Peshawar, the temple is beautifully carved from white marble.
Note: Hedvi beach is not suited for swimming, and any attempt to take a dip must be avoided.
Bauman Ghal-Hedavi (Natural Fountain)-20kms
In Hedavi Bauman Ghal is a natural gorge that is about 35 feet in length, 2 feet wide, and 20 feet in depth. Because of the canyon, this place
attracts many tourists who visit here to trek while enjoying the water being sprinkled on them when trekking.
Note: It is recommended not to visit this place during monsoon. Any attempts to trek could be fatal as the rocks become slippery.
Velneshwar seashore and Temple -15 kms
Velneshwar temple is 1200 years old. Interestingly, one part of the temple is submerged into the sea. Experience the roaring water while seeking blessings at the Temple. Velneshwar seashore is surrounded by coconut groves and overlooks a crescent-shaped horizon. Visit this beach to experience its serenity and, at the same time, feel your heartbeat.
Crocodile Safari, Maldoli – 46 km.
Maldoli, a hamlet, on the banks of the river Vashishti is infested with the Marsh Crocodiles or Muggers. These crocodiles are typically found in fresh water bodies however the ones found here are rare since the salt water from the Arabian Sea comes into the river for a few kilometers during high tides. There are few operators in the area who operate small boats for crocodile Safaris. Crocodile Safari at Maldoli is a unique experience. When you look at the giant crocodiles closely following you from your boat, it is bound to send chills down your spine.
Ganpatipule Temple -50 km
Flanked by the unpolluted sand on one side and an evergreen range on the other, Ganpatipule Temple is the holy place of Lord Gajanan. Frequented by hundreds and thousands of devotees from different corners of the country, this place is a pilgrimage center as well. Legend has it that The Ganapati idol at the Temple sprung up from the Earth four centuries ago. Ganpatipule Temple is within 2 hours drive from our resort in Konkan belt.
Karde Beach and Dolphin Rides -52 km
Sandwiched between Ladghar and Murud beach is another famous beach Karde beach, which is also popular for dolphins. If you are a family with kids, your kids are going to be super excited at having a chance to play with the playful dolphins. Kade beach is situated approximately 51.7 km from our resort near Guhagar beach.
Jaigad fort and lighthouse -33 km
Located atop a hill, Jaigad lighthouse offers a panoramic view of the
beautiful landscape. Situated within one and a half-hour drive from our resort, Jaigad lighthouse is a must-visit for anyone who prefers mountain scenery. Jaigarh Fort overlooks a bay where Shastri River and the Arabian sea converge. On arrival at the fort, you will find the ruins of the fort with the outer walls still standing tall. The fort has a Ganapati Temple, a palace and a well to store water.
Jay Vinayak Temple Jaigad – 33 kms
This temple is built by JSW Energy Ltd in 2003 thus it is also known as the Jindal Ganpati among the locales. The temple is surrounded with the clean and beautifully maintained Garden. It has amazing architecture Very well maintained with beautiful well-kept gardens.
Bird watching, Abloli – 30 kms
Nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats, Abloli is an unexplored destination for most bird lovers. Many professional photographers can be seen thronging this destination during the monsoon season to capture a glimpse of the beautiful Blue-eared kingfisher. Abloli is located at about 30 km from our resorts in Guhagar.

FOOD:-
Resort provides a fully functional kitchen with all the utensils, gas, oven, fridge and other gadgets.
Guests can choose to cook for themselves or get help from the caretaker.
The cost of groceries and service charges of caretaker to be paid separately as per your discussion with the caretaker.
The caretaker should be informed about the food choices and menu in advance so that she can plan the grocery purchase and serve the food as per the guest requirements.
Guests can carry food items from many good restaurants around Guhaghar market/ Modka agar / Shringartali. Normally there are not many food-delivery services in Guhaghar but you may try Hotel Aai Haslai -Modkaghar – 7775980665 for some home cooked veg and non-veg foods delivery at our place.
HOUSEKEEPING:-
Vessel and kitchen cleaning will be done by the caretaker twice a day.
Cleaning of the common area will be done once a day.
Room cleaning if required should be told to the caretaker. This is to protect the privacy of the guests.
The linen of all beds is changed for each new guest. Used towels are changed daily. If you need to change the linen anytime, please ask the caretaker to do so.
ELECTRICITY:-
Normally our resorts enjoy a continuous supply of power. Inverter is available as backup power supply to support few lights and fans. The AC, fridge etc will not work when the power is on inverter mode.
WATER:-
Water to the resort is directly procured from the nearby lake which supplies water to the entire town. This water is very good for cooking, bathing and cleaning.
For Drinking purpose, we have aqua guard installed at our kitchen. However, the guest may prefer to carry bottled water for drinking purposes. On request, the caretaker will provide drinking water at cost.
For bathing purpose hot water supply is made through solar heater. On a less sunny day hot water supply to bathroom may get hampered.
COMMUTING:-
Private vehicles, for which parking facilities are available in resort.
You can hire an auto rickshaw from the auto stand at Modka Aghar about 200 meters from resort. You can also hail a rickshaw over the phone.
You can take a bus ride to Guhaghar, Chiplun station and other places from Modka Agar stand which is about 200-meter distance from resort.
